About Tight Lines Design

Suzanne Rudge graduated with an honours degree from the course in Typography & Graphic Communication at Reading University in 1997. After a brief spell in London she turned against the tide, bid farewell to the bright city lights and returned to a rural idyll.

Whilst living on a trout farm, she worked for a design consultancy in Cirencester before joining a Cotswold-based publishing company. Here she designed countryside and lifestyle magazines for organisations such as the Countryside Alliance, NFU Countryside, British Horse Society and the Country Gentlemen's Association.

Life In The North

Several years later she moved a stone's throw away from the River Tweed in north Northumberland and found herself immersed even deeper in a world of fishing working for James Leeming, developer of the online booking engine behind FishTweed, FishDee, FishTay etc. The business grew steadily and evolved from FishSalmon to FishScotland, then FishBritain, and finally FishPal in order to accommodate a global client base.

In November 2010 Sue left to set up Tight Lines Design, a multidisciplinary graphic design company. When she's not busy designing or taking care of her children, she enjoys hill walking and gardening but most of all fishing... hence the name.
